Visit a Beautiful Negril villa
Located on the lorder between the Jamaican parishes of Westmoreland
and Hanover, lies the city of Negril, where a large number of
resorts and beach villas and hotels and situated. Being the the
westernmost parish on the island of Jamaica, westmoreland sits
at the southern reaches of Jamaica. Most of Negril's downtown
area, as well as the West End cliffs, and the southernmost portions
of Negril's 7mi. beach lie within the parish of Westmoreland.
The resorts on the northern end of Negril's seven mile beach are
located in the parish of Hanover. These parishes are both part
of of Cornwal county.
Negril's seven mile beach has long been recognized by a number
of popular travel magazines as o ne of the most stunning and attractive
beaches in the caribbean, as well as the world. There are many
all-inclusive resorts on the north end of the beach, and the southern
end of the beach is home to many smaller hotels and villas. With
this large variety and contrast on accommodations, Negril has
become a very popular destination for travelers. The cliff area,
which is located South of Negril's downtown area is dotted with
private resorts. Snorkeling and diving are extremely popular in
this area, as well as cliff jumping. Some of the jumping site
boast cliffs that exceed 40 feet in height.
Negril Jamaica is very popular for its vibrant nightlife. Reggae
music plays on into the night, and there is always something exciting
to do along Negril Beach. There are also many popular and stunning
natural attraction around Negril. A beautiful area called Mayfield
Falls is only a short drive from Negril, and can be reached by
arranging a taxi or tour from one of many easily accessable services.
Near Negril's cliff area is a popular restaurant and bar called
Rick's. This restaurant is famous as a great location for viewing
incredible sunsets, as well as being a place for a great bite
to eat and a cool drink.
The Great Morass is home to The Royal Palm Reserve, which is a
reserve that offers an eco-tourism tour is sponsored by the Negril
Environmental Protection Trust This tour features exciting walking
trails, scenery and wildlife. Horserides are available in the
Negril Hills area as well as the Whitehall Great House, which
is a ruin of an old plantation mansion.. Negril is also very popular
for it's scuba diving and snorkeling. there are many locations
along Negril beach where diving certifications may be obtained.
Many people do not think of crocodiles when they think of Jamaica,
but at the mouth of Rhodes Mineral Springs & Beach crocodiles
actually live in harmony with the local population. this area
is also knwon for it's hot mineral springs that bubble from the
earth. This community lies just south of Negril, and is also known
for being a favorite spot of reggae legend Bob Marley. A spring
where Bob Marley used to bathe is also a popular tourist site.
Great beaches, watersports, shopping, dining dancing and fun
are what have made Jamaica negril famous, and when you come to
